5660 and vesa resolution

I am using SuSE 8.1 and the generic vesa drivers...tried a couple, and I am stuck at a resoulution of 800x600.

Anyone know of any tricks that I can do to get me to at least 1024x768 if not higher.

Yeah I've seen your posts around Seibol, but I'm sorry I can't help you. I hate to see a post go unanswered, and I believe this is your third post on this topic.

I think that the ATI drivers are causing the problem, though. I've seen numerous posts about the drivers being incompatible in Linux, and I'd reccomend powernotebook's linux forum if I knew you hadn't already been there.
