No WSXGA+ display option for 9300?

WXGA+ = 1440x900
WUXGA = 1920x1200

Whatever happened to the WSXGA(+?) display that the 9200 had? Wasn't its resolution 1600x1050? I would prefer that resolution, high enough nice sharp detail but low enough to prevent myself from going blind! Might this option be available soon?

The 1920x1200 resolution isn't mandatory. It's still possible to switch screen resolutions by changing it in display properties. The WUXGA just has the same resolutions as desktops.

It isn't mandatory, but it's always best to stick to the native res.

Dell does not expect all or even most of it's customers to run their laptop at 1920x1200. On a 17" screen that is not at all good for your eyes.

Umm, have you ever used a 17-inch WUXGA before? It's the same pixel-pitch as WSXGA+ on a 15.4-inch.

Exactly, so why not offer WSXGA+ @ 1600x1050 so people who dont need 1920x1200 dont have their eyes fall out, but leave 1920x1200 for people who LOVE high res. I have my 19" monitor set @ 1600x1200, so I'm not sure if my eyes could handle UXGA, but I dont want to get a res that is too small that I'd regret! Ahhhh I just confused myself !!1
