Nice, but missing XGA+ = 1152 x 864 and WXGA+ = 1440 x 900.
Nice reference here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_display_standard

Find me a notebook wiht XGA+ or WXGA+, and I'll acknowledge it. As of right now, I have never seen a notebook (or monitor) with that resolution. Cheers.

WXGA+ is usually found on LARGER screen notebooks like the 17", it looks like horrible garbage, the icons are so damn big since the screen is 17 inches. its better if you get the WSXGA

ive noticed alot of higher end toshibas and sonys are still using XGA, my dell inspiron 8000 from like 4 years ago has an UXGA wide viewing angle LCD, why the hell are they still using old crappy displays? the inspiron wasn't even close to top of the line and it came with a ATi Mobility M4 32MB video card (deticated ram)

You must not have looked to hard then. Time to start acknowledging...the following very common and popular notebooks all have 1440x900 WXGA+ either standard or as option:

Alienware 7700
Dell 9200 and 9300
Sager 4791

WXGA+ Horrible garbage? LOL, guess that's in the eye of the beholder. I happen to think it looks fine....especially when compared to the over-glossy WUXGA displays I've seen lately...those look fantastic when running the aquarium screen saver and look like crap for most everything else.

dont forget almost all toshiba 17" has WXGA+, even on toshibas almost top of the line $3300CDN rip off laptop it only has WXGA+ lol, for $2600CDN you can get the P30 (i think) its WAY faster than the quosimo $3300cdn one since it has a better video card and it has the exact same screen. the only diff between the 2 laptops is that 1 has a TV tuner + remote, BIG WOOPDEE $#@%@# DOO, tv tuners are only $130 at the very most (laptop wise including USB)

Ah, now I see. There is some confusion to whether it is 1440x900 or 1400x900 however...

WXGA+ is 1440 x 900....if Alienware has 1400x900 it's probably a typo. Sager 4791 gives you a choice of two screens....WSXGA+ OR WXGA+. Fact is though that WXGA+ does exist and should be on that list you provided as it is very common.

Okay okay... you win...

Still kinda sketchy how the vertical resolutions don't match for XGA+ and WXGA+...

Hehe...wasn't about winning, I just happen to be shopping for a 17" notebook lately. Started by looking at the 7700, switched to the 4791 because I thought the 7700 was too expensive and finally ordered my 9300...with the XGA+ screen last night! Became very familiar with that resolution as I have a really hard time with tiny fonts and can't stand the gloss/glare screens that seem to always go with the higher res displays.

btw: That is a little strange how the vertical resolutions don't match for XGA+ and WXGA+....never noticed that before. Guess WXGA+ is more like WXGA++

I think that the Powerbook 17" is 1440x900, or something about that.
