So yeah. Read the title....and never do it! Called alienware and new LCD screen = $505 bucks. plus shipping and labor(unless warrenty will cover just that part) otherwise im looking at over $700 to get it fixed.

Tigerbear, trying to start something are we?

Its ok i see you just joined in january and we dont know each other well...im a huge alienware supporter and stand up for them over in the dell forums. I went with Dell the i9200 was what i wanted/needed...the 7700 is too bulky (a la the old XPS) and the 5500 had too small of a screen (a la the 8600) and wasnt PM...the 9200 was perfect for me but alienware doesnt have a model that compares, so i went with Dell

I am thinking of a Compaq from PCWORLD, but I am only interested because of a good deal.

Is it just me or are the links to the pictures broken?

I have a lamp beside my desk that I call "The punch lamp".

It doesn't work and is bent into the shape of a snake, but my computer equipment is all in pristine shape.
