Yeah, I have a Bluetake BT500 bluetooth mouse. It runs for about 12 hours, under heavy use, then needs its' batterires replaced. LOL . . . I have rechargeable batteries everywhere. I replaced it last sunday with the MX1000 and MX510.
I got the 2 Logitech units at Comp USA, for testing. I wanted a good gaming/overall use mouse. The MX1000 has more than exceeded my expectations. Its' fit and feel are perfect for my right hand and the battery life is INSANE. Since the initial charge, last Sunday, the battery charge status LED's is showing 2 out of 3 ligthts. This is after days of heavy gaming, general tasking and web surfing use. The charge may not surpass my Logitech cordless optical mouse for notebooks, but I will not need to replace the batteries for the MX1000. I'll just put it in its' charger base.
The MX510 is awesome, as well. However, since the MX1000 (in my opinion) is par to that of the MX510, the MX1000 will be my daily mouse, because it is cordless.
