Is the M70 LCD compatible with the D800?

Hello I'm thinking of buying a M70 and giving my Inspiron 8500 (modded to D800 chassis) to my father, but as he doesn't want my 1920x1200 WUXGA LCD I'm thinking of buying the M70 with the WXGA option and swapping the LCD. Is that possible?
