I've read this thread and after all thees discussions i understand nothing. My goal was to find laptop for working mostly with 3D applications and i supposed 5660 will be a better choise... Now i doubt. If 5660 UXGA screen produce less colors than SXGA, why it has a bigger price and higher scale? As far as i can remember it start from the simplest XGA and going up to SXGA, SXGA+, and UXGA as the best and the most expensive. Correct me if i'm wrong. And conclusion: 5660 UXGA - 252.000colors. 8860 SXGA -
16 000 000 colors! It is absurd, isn't it?
Now i got a question to PC Torque.

1. Why the cheaper and simple screen SXGA, give a better display quality than more expensive UXGA?

2. Does it mean the 8886 screen support more ATI 9000 feauters
than 5660 screen?
