Cheapest and best place to buy RAM?

I know the two words (cheap and best) are hard to come by, but is there a reputable place online to purchase additional RAM for the new i6000?

While on the i6000, if I add a 7200rpm HD, will the laptop get any hotter and/or louder?

Yes, it will get hotter going from 5400 rpm to a 7200 rpm drive.
This may cause the fans to run faster, which may increase noise.

I've always had good luck with Crucial. They're relatively cheap and good-quality stuff. Plus they give a lifetime warranty.

i get from www.oempcworld.com or www.4allmem.com

the cheapest and best are always popping up from place to place, so it basically a matter of when you need it. some places have rebates, some have sales, etc

IMO Curcial is overall the best place for memory. Great website, selection and products. I have bought lots of memory from them and never had any trouble. They are not the cheapest but I believe they are overall the best. A few months ago I decided to get some cheap memory from CompUSA for my 700m, it immediately starting acting up and not working right. I returned it and bought memory from Crucial, it works great.
