I6000d benchmark score

Thread Starter
Well... the moment you all have been waiting for has come... I have finally done the benchmark 3d03 on I6000d with ati 128MB X300. I am not using the omega drivers.. just plain drivers that are on Dell's website.

.... and the result is : 2561

as you all guessed it is not a very impressive score... But it runs WoW on highest settings pretty good... and right now thats all I care about

Does someone know what the 9200's score should be? I'd like to try it.

so the I6000d runs wow on the highest settings? Nice! My buddies are all playing this but I have not had time to play and when I do I have not wanted to be cooped up in my office while I play. Thanks for putting in that little tidbit.

Pretty good score. I can return my i8600 and get a i6000 now. BTW, Existent, what is default frequencies of X300? Core 325 and Mem 200? Thanks.

That is correct.

ohhhh.... Sounds right. I've heard thats a pretty cool online game. Oh man... I will have to stay away from it unless I want to destroy my Real Life.

Someone said frequency of the MR-X300 is 300/217 MHz if I remember correctly.

Just finally ran this test and got 3483 with 3d03. Is this because I have 2gh processor? I thought they would be more the same.
No, it's because the MR9700 is much faster than the X300. The MR9700 is clocked at 445/263. I think the X300 is clocked at 350/300, so it has slightly higher memory bandwidth and a much slower core. Anybody OC'd one yet?

I dont think it's because of your processor, 3d mark 03 is almost totally dependent on the GPU
post #14 of 17
Yeah, it's the video card difference that causes it.

I was using the ATITool on my x300 and it comes up as core 300 and memory 216. I got it up to 305 core and 230 memory before I got image tears. 3dMark05 results were about 1025. I thought the x300 was supposed to be 350/300 like dellbert stated above.

I guess the OEM is able to specify clock rates. Some lappies do clock at 350/300. I'm not sure why you would get artifacts at those clocks. Dell must be using cheaper components.
