mine is 1.86Ghz, 512MB DDR2, X300 128MB and i get these results

3DMark05 - 1356
3DMark03 - 2756
3DMark01 - 10070

With the X300 64mbat 425/350 I get 2350 3d2003marks Using standard Ati 5.10 drivers btw.
I guess the 64mb version is not the one to get for new games, but it runs bf2 smoothly at 1024x768 with most settings on low.

BUT ONE SHOULDN'T PLAY GAMES, 64MB IS GOOD FOR NOT PLAYING GAMES. GAMES ARE BAD, STUDYING MOLECULAR CELL BIOLOGY IS MUCH SMARTER! COWS! moooo.

Update, after installing the latest omega drivers and choosing performance settings, running the card at 420/350 I got 3035 3dmarks!

Not bad for the 64mb version.

This is strange. Your 3dMark05 score is almost the same as mine, but your 3dMark03 score is a lot higher. But you only score higher on CPU and the first game benchmark.

CPU makes sense, your CPU is a bit faster. But videoperformance doesn't make sense. How can your score be 4 times as high only in the first benchmark? (GT1 - Wings of fury)

X300 @450/280
3DMark05 - 1831
3DMark03 - 3886
3DMark01 - 12761

I run BF2 in my 6000 with the 128mb x300 at 1680x1050, low settings. You might be able to get it to run at a lower resolution.

so will the x300 64 mb handle BF2

nvm

I got 1371 in 3DMark05 with no overclock using the latest Omega drivers.
it should run, buti would reccomend a ram upgrade, as BF2 sometimes will nedd a gig or more in multiplayer. On th e lowest settings, you should get very playable framerates, so i wouldnt worry too much about it. but that ram upgrade will do you some good.

Right-click on the shortcut to BF2, go to properities. Then go to the shortcut tab. In the box where it says "target", add the following to the end of what's already typed there (outside of the quotation): +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 (or whatever your resolution is).

I got the same specs at the author:

My specs are: 2.0P-M, 1GB Ram, 60g 7200k Hitachi, x300 128MB, and WUXGA.

and I'm pretty sure I'm running Dell's driver

Here's my scores

default
3dmark03: 2769
3dmark05: 1338

a lil o/c (366/255)
3dmark03: 3330
3dmark05: 1585

I just overclocked for kicks to see how much difference it would make. I play all my games on the basic settings though because I don't play any high graphic demanding games.
