doc caliban, latitude module?

The poster struck a chord with me, I still use the dell internal 2nd drive module for the latitude models

Bad news is its for a C series and has a different connector

BUT dell just released a revise of the D series latitude line. They probably have a similar adapter for the D series

Question is, is it compatible with the 9300/XPS2

May or may not be as they tout the latitude having long shelf life for corporate. The inspirons may or may not have followed the latitude.

Does anyone have a latitude module or details of it, maybe there is a simple fix, even if the drive spaces dont match the connectors might?

(I havent checked the dell site myself yet)

Good luck, I use USB external on my 9300, and have a spare drive and main caddy courtesy of dell's idiocy (dont ask long story, starting with 4200 ending with 5400) with a backup image.

Goddamn i cant pay because paypal wants me to add a creditcard and i dont have one

"To send money instantly, please add a credit card or debit card to your account."

Can you make a direct link to paypal with the information already filled in because then it works for people without a credit card. (thats why i got paypal in the first place)

Oh, nice!

So, can I hot swap? It IS possible, but Windows doesn't like it.

I rarely use my DVD anyway, so I'll bang it into a slimline usb case.
