Received HDD adaptors, cheers!

I don't post much on the forum, as you can see, mostly just lurk for info etc., but wanted to post to say:

Got two HDD adaptors (one's a spare) from qj.xu in China today, simple to fit, works perfectly, couldn't be happier.

Would recommend these to all M170 owners, you can't beat a 2nd hard drive for flexibility, and I can vouch for qj.xu 100%, very friendly, very reasonably priced, and very fast delivery!

Thanks a lot!

Definitely a nice idea, but the only place I found it, was charging around $100 dollars after shipping!

Yikes... Can't imagine why this would be so expensive... the battery I guess?

Well, to follow up, I found this:

http://www.netcomdirect.com/nencusb205ex.html

Seems to use an additional USB cord for power? For twenty bucks, might be worth the gamble.

Just wanted to say I got my package from QJ today - everything is looking GREAT! Now I need to get a hard drive to try it all out.

Plus thanks for the cool little flashlight! My co-worker stole it from me - he liked it so much :-P

I'll fabricate a mount. I just need to know if the interface will work.
My personal answer to this is... The bios will see it.
Problem being is that you'll probably have find a laptop cable that has a slave port on it...

Have you read the thread? Its been long known that the 2nd hard drive works perfectly well simply by using a tray thats available from China. There is also a guy here in the US who brought a number of trays back from China and selling them from Texas I think.

Pull the optical drive out, screw your 2nd hard drive into the tray and slid the tray into the slot. Turn on laptop and done! Thats it.

I still have some left. If you guys need one, please PM me. Thanks.

Liu Xiang of China set a world record (12.88)in the 110-meter hurdles, breaking the record he shared with Britain's Colin Jackson.

ok,i think i have to break the price of the 2rd hard drive caddy.
I also have lots of caddy
I can ship them from china to Europe、North America and Oceania

if you live in USA ,the total cost for 1 is $35 usd.
(and you order from me , i will give you 1 free in case it is bad ,so you will receive 2 caddy, in other words,$35 usd for 2 caddy.)
