Hello... after reading the posts about the new Omega drivers, I decided to give them a try. I d/l Driver Cleaner and the newest Omegas (v2.6.05a). I followed the instructions perfectly, uninstalled all the ATI drivers from Control Panel, rebooting in Safe Mode, running Cab Cleaner and Driver Cleaner to remove all references to ATI drivers, rebooting and installing the Omegas and rebooting again. Once it booted I got a "Found New Hardware" wizard that I cancelled, and I had a crappy 800 x 600 resolution. I went to my Display Control Panel, but it appeared the drivers did not install, as there are no ATI tabs, even in the Advanced section. I reboot and this time I let the "Found New Hardware" wizard run again. Even though I let it access the internet AND let it search & install drivers automatically, it told me no drivers could be found. I tried to do it manually myself thru the Device Manager, but could find no drivers manually either. Finally, I decided to run the Omega setup one more time. It tells me "Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup". This is where I am stuck. Where do I get a "standard VGA driver"? I let it search thru my entire hard drive, but it could not find one. Anyone? Thanks.
