also got my order saved

guy was very nice, but offered me no goodies...only to save my order for 24 hours

oh well. I stilll like the idea of a decent gaming machine that can hold its own in the fast-paced world.

if anyone has any coupons for dell home that they feel they don't need, I would be grateful

The discount my cousin gave me is for 10%. But its for family only and only one order per coupon. I think she only gets one per quarter.

I was on hold for a 1/2 hour waiting But I did change my order from 40gig 4200rpm to the 60gig 7200. It cost $159.00 but it's well worth it. I found the $150.00 off coupon as well-used it!

8600
1.6, WUXGA
60 GB 7200 drive
512 RAM
GFX5650 128mb
2xDVD Writer
TrueMobile 1300

Check out the article in general about alienware V 8890 - it links to a gamedepot review of the 5660 and M10P - The M10P literally craps all over the nvidia card in dx9 stuff.

Good thing the 8600 comes with the 5650....still...looks like Nvidia has some work to do on the drivers...
