Hi everyone, I'm posting this message to inquire about what other users think is the ideal multimedia presentation notebook.
I'm looking for a laptop that will mainly be used to hook up to a projector and occasionally be feeding into a sound system.
I've been using a dell D800. it's a great machine, but when hooked to a sound system the headphone creates big problems (low humming noise) and has to be cancelled out with an adapter. Problem is that not every venue has such an adapter. So perhaps there's a laptop out there with a RCA out ? or at least a "line out".
Screen size is not a big issue since the projector would be the main screen, but something sizeable enough that wont make a stand alone presentation look bad. so at least a 15" display.
DVD drive is a must but processor, wireless networking and bluetooth are not important.
Can you guys point me in the right direction ?
