My vote was for the T43, though realy i would snap up a cheap T42 with a Radeon 9600 Mobility, which is faster than the X300, the 6200 TC is not at all a good GPU, it's no better than the X300 and might be worse depending on the amnt of onboard ram, the 16 meg version is so slow that the Intel Media Graphics Acclerator 900 can beat it in a few tests.

That, or the Sony S360, which is the immediate predecessor of the S380 and although it uses the last gen Centrino platform, it's still great and has a much better graphics card (Mobility Radeon 9700 64mb).

The IBM should be more reliable, has better service, and be much more professional looking than the Sony.

Is that any rational reason to go with any computer; computers are for utility first, then maybe if you have a little extra dough, go for the style. But build quality should rank way higher on anyone's list than style!!

If you want style, just carry around a plastic bouquet of flowers, cost you only twenty bucks, and won't ever have to worry about repairing it.
