I have a friend wants to find a laptop of this type like mine, anyone know of a deal $600-$700??

Tiger's laptops 99.999999999% of the time have cosmetic blemishes and for sure dead pixles. Avoid them!!!!!!!!!

Find a reputable seller on ebay and ask for thier phone number and give yours, discuss the laptops condition before purchasing. I have never had a problem with ebay, except when I did not use my best judgment.

Was your friend supposed to meet me to look at an m6805? Just curious. Honestly, I doubt you will find an m68xx series laptop that is in any kind of good condition for $700.

I am trying to sell mine, and have looked as many places as I could to get an accurate idea on price and haven't found one yet in good to excellent condition for less than $750, and that is before shipping.

If you are the guy who was coming along with your buddy, tell him he can have mine for $750. That's my last offer on it. If you are thinking, "who the hell is this guy?", then nevermind, you are the wrong person.

I agree with iowapilot, finding a nice one for that price will be hard. You can always find broken ones for that price.

I got my 6805 on eBay for $600 a few weeks ago. It looks used on the outside and had a bad stick of ram. But after swapping the ram, it runs great. No dead pixels or screen problems. I know I got very lucky, but you never know, another one may come up.

No he and I were not supposed to meet anyone, I pointed him to this thread so he could see if any deals come up. He may leave a message for $750. I live in colorado, he lives in MD, if anyone finds or hears of any deals please post them here, thanks everyone. You ale always helpful here.

Id watch out on Ebay with laptops, it seems to me they seem to be the same price as a retail store most of the time so you just end up taking a risk on sending some guy $750 that you dont know. Also, I would not recommend getting a used laptop from anyone. Not that someone didnt take really good care of it and it might last another 2-3 years, but if something went out on it and its not under warrenty then you'll be paying 300-400 bucks to fix it and could have bought a better comp with a warrenty for the same price. Just a thought
