Congrats on all of the arrivals. I know the feeling when a new system comes in - hmmm, can we say sick days at work?

Mine ships in just over a week (21 Mar). Should line up with my return from TDY (business trip). Definitely looking forward to that.

Ratmyr I cannot take sick days from work. Mine is being delivered there and they would definatly know what is going on

Well, atleast you get to use yours a lot more during the day. Mine can't come anywhere near my job. But when it arrives, I plan on spending the first day reviewing and taking pictures of it.

As for the sick days, they are somewhat legal. I mean, the mental stress I will be under knowing that the system is home alone and I am at work would not be good for the organization.

And..... if any of my staff reads this..... Ummm, what I said above is just crazy talk. I am delirious...In fact, I may have to take a sick day to heal.

RAtmyr funny thig is we have the same specs on our machines except the turbo wireless. I have an SMS wireless G router here and that is what I will be useing so I saw no need to go for the turbo since it wont speen my internet conection up anyway. (3 meg cable is way slower than 54 forget about 108) and I do have a bunch of systems at home but I dont do a lot of file transfers so I dont think I need it. I went for Sagers 0 dead pixel policy so that is said to hold up the shipping process a little hopefully I will hear something soon as a shipping date or something. I know people HAte the Alien ware Phase system but at least it gives you a general idea of what is going on. I am going NUTS here. ( I know it has only been a few days. MAney was recieved on tuesday and it is only early friday morning so there really is no reason to be paceing but I cant help it I want my new toy!)

i received my order within 10 days, i got the confirming email in 4 and the tracking number @8. Way better than a month + for aw

I know I could have received my system faster if I hadn't gone with the paint jobs, but I have to style and profile somehow. Glad I ordered it before I saw the XPS2. That system may not be as powerful as the one I am getting, but I love the customizations that it has (user controlled lighting and image covers).

But when I get out of this field exercise, it will be just a week away before it arrives. The exercise helped burn down the time.

I'm at work now, but before I left I fired up farcry to see how it looked...and the word I'm lookin' for is POOP. I set everything to high and the AS at 4. The lighting effects made it look really bright, the water wasn't fully rendered and the sewer grates in the opening scene were only partially there. I'll monkey around with the drivers this weekend. Also, did anyone else get their 9860 and the wireless card doesn't work?

Dead Pixels?

Did you guys order the dead pixel policy? If you did or didn't do you see any dead pixels? I hope mine comes dead pixel free!
