RAM upgrade - which to get?

Hi all,

Just got my Alienware Sentia (model # 244110) from eBay and have a quick question for resident forum experts: my laptop came with 2 x 256 Mb RAM and I'll need a little more RAM then that. Thus, I'm wondering which RAM should I buy - will PC2700 (333 Mhz) work or am I prettu much stuck with PC2100? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Phil, welcome to the forums and congrats on your new toy! I don't know a lot about RAM and stuff but if you look here -> http://www.alienware.com/Configurato...KU-PERFORMANCE you'll see that for the Sentia, AW gives you several options for the DDR PC2700 at 333mhz. Actually, it's the only options they offer.

PC-2700 will do just fine. You will just be limited to 2GB max.
