I finally got around to downloading and running this benchmark. Pretty neat graphics kinda like the '01 benchmark. What are you guys getting with your new rigs.

I know, I tried an OC and broke 10 000 3dmark05 points, but the system was so unsatble it took 5 attempts to complete the run. There was no way to use the system like that. the cards were at 410 1.17 <note, I could be wrong about the memclock though, I can't remember> and the bios settings were changed as well, I didn't use the AI or Ntune s/w progs, I followed a sheet I had made up reading off of [H]ardOCP, Tom's Hardware, and some other sites regarding my specific motherboard. But without better cooling I'm not touching the machine, it's waaay faster than any game I have right now anyway.

wow nice cpu oc, what r ur temps?

r u using coolbits 2 oc the gpu?
I'm sure u can squeeze a bit more out of that gpu, i hit 466 anf 1290...still nice scores

have u tried 3dmark05?

Well since running the new beta drivers from nvidia, I can't mod the clock speeds as when you hit test changes, it automatically resets the speeds back to 370/1000.

But I'm reinstalling the drivers right now and I'll see what happens.

Its a long process as I reboot inbetween all steps but I'll let you kow how it turns out in about 30 minutes.

dont 4 get 2 run driver cleaner before u install any new drivers
post #11 of 23
Okay, here's the deal

Reboot to safe, uninstall drivers, reboot to safe, run driver cleaner, reboot to safe, run driver cleaner again until nothing appears, reboot, install new betas, reboot, enable sli, reboot. Done

Now, here's the thing, as it stand with the official Coolbits regmod (dword val 8) I have no access to clock/mem speeds but do have access to SLI Rendering modes.

If I do Coolbits 2, I lose that but gain access to clockspeeds. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. What would be good would be having access to both clockspeeds and SLI rendering modes, but I'm not experimenting with that, some other brave sod can...lol

That 6K barrier is tough, I gonna have to read some tweaking guides to reach that pinnacle. I'm near 5800, but 6K looks far away.

Gotten close, don't know how to OC so maybe I'll mess around with it
