Does anyone have the 5680 3D mark scores...anyone?

I'm thinking about buying this laptop so I can play games while i wait for classes in college....

with a 9600ati if it can't beat the dell 8500, then that's pretty ****ty.

Check out the thread about 3dmark scores for the 8890. The 8890 and the 5680 should yeild virtually identical scores since the graphics, mobo, cpu, etc are identical.

I finally got my 5680 today. When I ran 3dmark01 my score was 9617. That is much lower than everyone else. What settings are you running it at?

i'm bumping this thread b/c i really want my question answered. it bothers me that my 3dmark score is so much lower than everyone else's.

Some 5680s came with their GPUs underclocked. The latest BIOS version fixes the problem (sets the clocks to 350MHz core and 250MHz memory, as they it should be).

OK, i downloaded and installed the bios update. The video card is now running at 350/250. However, my 3DMark01 score dropped to 4817. What is the problem? Please, someone help me.

edit: i just ran 03 and scored 28??. The "?" are numbers i don't remember. Anyway, 03 is running lower than most people, but just not as big of a difference.

edit 2: ran 01 again b/c 4817 just seemed way off and scored 8139. That's closer to what it was before, but still far lower than everyone else's benchmarks. I only have 512mb of ram. could that be lowering my score? i doubt the difference b/w 512mb and 1gb of ram should make that kind of difference.

Thats weird. My scores are consistent even if I had a s*itload of garbage running in the background. Woah. Do you have DX9b?
