XPS2 Memory Latency?

After scouring dell's website and this forum, I still have no clue as to what the CAS latency is on the DDR2 SODIMM supplied with the laptop. I just want to know if I can get away with putting CAS 4 sticks in this bad boy without it ending up as a paper weight. I know that higher latency will cause a slight drop in performance, but I think the trade off for 2 gigs of ram for most of my games and memory intensive applications will make up for it. Thanks, all you crazy fact finding blood hounds.

Latency makes no difference in compatibility as long as the ram is the similar type. It only makes negligible difference in performance. The CAS 4 should work fine.. I think that's the standard latency for DDR2.. haven't seen anything with lower than that.

All So-Dimm I've seen is CAS 4. Only desktop memory is faster and that is relatively new.
