Wow! Sudden $500 price drop?
One thing I did notice is the PC Connection spec only calls out a 90-day warranty, versus 1-yr typically. Too early to be a refub, isn't it?

I expect the sonoma notebook prices to stabilize as more are being offered by different manufacturers..

although there was an article of some chip initial shortages, it was also mentioned that intel expects to fill this by end of the quarter.

Warranty is probably a typo. Bet it is not showing as a refurb. You can always send it back.

Too bad I ordered an Inspiron 9300, should get one of these just to resell.

Just to make sure I ain't crazy, here is a screenshot.

Yeah Filo...stabilize but they are not going to drop $500-$550 just based on the chip. Someone screwed up on this one. These things have a $300-400 video card in them.

I wonder if they will cancel my order like they did when I ordered the Aspire 1681 with them last Sept. They ran out of stock and cancelled my order w/o telling me?!
They'll cancel it if they don't want to lose $300.00 on each system that gets ordered while that page is up.

I agree... seriously thinking of buying this one... can someone confirm that the warranty is a typo - 90 days!

Hope this is brand new.

even if it is a typo, heck, buy the extended warranty anyway.
you don't have to buy the extended service plan through them do you?

I just ordered one too. Not bad for my first laptop. We'll see if its too good to be true.
And here I almost ordered the Toshiba S2 last night, butI thought I'd wait just a bit longer to see if I got a reply to a pers message on this forum.

I didn't order an extended warranty - figured I could add it once I got it (right?).
Don't they all have a manufacturer warranty anyway? And has anyone called to see if this is true or not, especially about them being in stock.
