Hi,
I just posted a thread about the battery being empty after letting the computer sit unused. The only other minor inconvenience I have with the N5010 is that the hard drive (60GB, 7200rpm) seems to go into sleep mode in just a few seconds (OK, may be 1 minute or 2) of inactivity. This is independent of all the settings I could find in Windows XP and it is annoying because when the hard drive "wakes up" it takes like a second and it makes the computer feel slow. This happens while typing a document or something and you can clearly hear the hard drive start spinning again when it wakes up.
As you can see, this is not really a performance issue, just an annoyance, but I would like to know if anyone else has experienced that and has a solution.
thanks,Mik
