Does anyone know if the sager 4080 bios has a boot-block to reflash a bad flash?

Reason i'm asking is my laptop doesn't boot ._. When i press power the lights flash the fan goes on and the cd drive whirls. Then it just sits there with the fans on. I was wondering if there's anything other than shipping the laptop back (i'm poor and its no longer under warranty). Do these laptops have any form of boot block that i can use to reflash my laptop? I've only heard of boot blocks that read the floppy drive, but when i turn on my laptop the cd drive whirls. is it possible that i can use the cd drive to reflash the bios? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Does your screen show anything at all? If you are not getting the post screen or anything the computer may actually be booting but there may be something wrong with the LCD. Check and see with an external monitor. (may work may not if the video card is blown)

Did your problems begin when you flashed your bios? You can boot from a cd but it's a little tricky.

Do you not have a floppy on that model?
