Any chance XPS2 will be available in Australia?

Gee... the 33% off deal that is available in Australia now is so attractive that I'm again VERY tempted to upgrade to the 9300 at even a lower price then what I got my 9200 for.

But ONE BIG QUESTION is whether there is a possibility that the XPS2 will be available in Australia soon and hopefully a similar deal will come by as well a little later. I really wish to upgrade to a significantly faster video card (i.e. 6800 ultra) if in deed this will be available in Oz later.

I'm really trying to hold off the temptations and I only have another 3 days to think about it.

Please does anyone know whether countries like Australia (ie. outside US) will have XPS2 on sale later on or are we not to expect this at all to be available FOR GOOD?

I'd wait until March 15th to see what happens. Supposedly thats when Dell is introducing the XPS 2 to Europe so maybe Australia will get it too.

Also ...does anyone know where the best place is to keep up to date with Aussie discount codes and the like ??

G'day Paul,

No code mate, basically go to Dell Home Australia and click on the notebooks and the discounted 9300 will come up as a featured product. Otherwise, just go through and configure the 9300 and it will include the 33% off. There is also a $300 off code, which you can get the details of on the site also.

With Aus discounts, they are pretty much all on the site. Occasionally you will see an ad in the paper or on the telly and they will direct you to a Dell subsite, but the current discount equates to about $1900 off, which is as good as I have seen in the last 2 years.
