You are right, I need to send another letter. Even if the rest of my Alienware experience is akin to cyber heaven (including contact with the mother ship), I owe it to the next happy go lucky Area51m buyer to make my disatisfaction known, I still believe that any management in its right mind would not tolerate this from their staff.
If American Industry hasn't learned anything else in the last 25 years, they've learned that quality of product and customer service is what they're actually selling. Those attributes go hand in hand, one is useless without the other! Thanks again Aurora.

Just an update on my less than perfect relationship with Alienware so far.
I called Sales this morning to see if they would honor the price reductions that appeared overnight on their server. Most companies give you a price garantee of at least 7 day. Even Orange county choppers has the 7 days.
(You know, the aol biker guys in SB commercial. Anyways I found out that they do honor price reduction made while the computer is still in phase.
What could be the only thing that could spoil this delightful Alienware policy?
Yep! They shipped my laptop this morning, its with Fed Ex as I type this.
I'm thinking maybe they got that letter Aurora, someone would have had to walk it thru production and then put it ahead of a lot of computers in line to get it through QA that fast. For the first time in this grand adventure, I am getting very excited. Gotta go now, will probably sleep under the mail box across the road until it comes. Don't want to miss the delivery! Yeah! but you knew that, didn't you? lol
