Thought it would be nice to have a place to post legitimate Dell rumors. (hmm, legitimate rumors,that is kind of funny???)

I don't have any good rumors to post but does anyone know when Dell might be changing their desktop lineup???

The rumor is that they already changed their desktop lineup. Here's the new Dimension 5000 available in Europe:

Wow, that is REALLY ugly (IMHO). Looks very dated and bland (not smooth or minimalist). The previous designs were nicer on the outside, but the real design changes are in the inside with these new cases (see the new Optiplex cases - which I assume will be the same inside like previous generation Dimension/Optiplex systems). Yes, BTX is much better overall, I just wish they used a nicer exterior with it. We'll see what the other models will look like (Dimension 8500 or 9000?)
