Ok, first, I'm sorry that you had what is obviously a bad experience with WoW, and have decided to form an opinion and pass it off as fact, but that has nothing
to do with this thread, so please stop.
Second, whether 64 bit takes off in two years time or not - and right now, 64 bit support is a lot of marketing that fan boys love to rally around, and not much else - is almost comically irrelevant, because the XPS 2 is going to be very outdated by then whether it is 64 bit or not. For examples of this, see every notebook put out two years ago and compare them to now. Outdated? Yes. USELESS? Not at all. Heck, my 5680 came out nearly two years ago, with the 9600 Pro video card, and it was state of the art then. Now it gets smoked in benchmarks but who cares? I play games on it just fine. I am typing on it right now, it is the only PC I have or use.
As for NEEDING 64 bit, as in, you will not be able to use the new Windows, play new games, use new apps, etc - that ain't gonna happen in two years. The PC industry moves lightning fast in some ways and dirt slow in others, and this is the latter case. I mean, we are just now getting PC's that don't have parallel ports or floppy drives. How long did those take to die? Hell, they STILL aren't dead.
