I used to have one of these. A Tandy 1000.

Yes. As a matter of fact, it is right beside the C64, two 1541 disk drives (older fat style and newer "slim" style), and tape drive. Ahhh, I was so envious of c128 owners

HAHA I have a C128 as well My dad has that one actually, I had a C64 (this was when I was ages 4-7 by the way).Never saw a slim 1541 tho...

The slim ones weren't really slim. They were just not as bulky as the tan/brownish colored ones and were white. They looked more suited for the C128 case. The older 1541 looked more suited for the C64 case.

P.S. Sorry for the thread hijack, but couldn't pass up on some good memories

Ahh I see. I still remember most of the different memory locations and stuff too! I was coding sprites and stuff then, how many kids 5 years old have you seen that knew binary math!

Sprites were fun! I was a tick older though ... 9-10 when I first got mine. mmmmm BASIC All in all, for what they were, they had some pretty decent little games for the day.

Well guys, I actually thought to contact the ebay company I bought the machine from to see if they had any spare KB's laying around. Thought they might because the 6805, and the m2350 are what they have the most of. I talked to their customer service lady and she said that she might be able to get the thing replaced for me from eMachines for free, because she "knows how to get around these things."

Anyway, got my fingers crossed. And thanks again for all your replies, I'll let you guys know.

Ok guys, The people I got my laptop from just decided to replace the whole darn thing. They paid for return shipping and everything. Can't beat that I guess. Anyway, thanks again for all your help.
