Disassembling Sager 5600

I've got a 5626, and I need some information about disassembling it. I found a post about removing the wristpad, but the link to the instructions for taking it off is broken. Can anyone tell me how the wristpad can be removed?

Also, I read that others on the forum have had the same problem that I had with the lid latch breaking. One person posted that they machined a metal replacement for the latch, but I'd like to find out how you'd take the lid apart to get to the latch.
