Is this April Mob or what ??????
Hmm... Well I'm not showing the 7426GX on their site yet, but here's the new eMachines notebook for this quarter (ya they're back, I knew they couldn't "not sell anymore eMachines notebooks" for long )

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1109233681489

I'm going to look around other sites for the 7426GX

EDIT: Cyberscholar hasn't been updated for this quarter yet either.

I just got back from BestBuy with my 7422, last one in the state, from what they told me. I just couldn't wait for the next model, 7426. However, I did ask about it. He confirmed the 100GB HD, the $1549 price, but nothing else. They didn't have any on order, nor did any other stores in the state. He guessed, since it was in the computer, but not scheduled, that it's about 2 weeks out. That's all.

The BB I was at today had just the floor model left - open box AND (of course) pre-cracked hinge for $1329?! That ain't right when they were selling new last month for $1250 - couldn't get flunky to let me have it for a grand. Guess I will have to wait.

Anaconda, I thought you were designated to sit on cyberscholar's site and press "F5" until it came up? Regrettably, it looks to be just a 7422GX with an upgraded processor and 20GB more of space Let's cross our fingers and hope for 5400RPM or (gasp) maybe even the long awaited 7200? ROFL. They also have the processor frequency listed wrong
post #57 of 153
No, that's the right frequency for a 3700+, my 3400+ is at 2.2 w/ 1mb L2, that is next up at 2.4.
Looked over where it said 2.4GHz to where it said 1600MHz (HT speed). Opps
