They indicated they were testing it today and it worked with HID support. And yes it was a typo on my behalf, sorry 1.3.2.9.

It will be posted for the 8890 first then for the 4060, they are the same card.

I installed v1.3.2.9, but I had problems.

The software that accompanies the driver doesn't detect the presence of the bluetooth adapter.

So, things like "My Bluetooth Places" and the configuration utility in the system tray do not work at all.

But, I was able to install and use my MS BT KB/Mouse set just fine. They were autodetected by windows as HID devices. It was smooth as can be.

The KB and mouse work great. The mouse is a little big compared to Logitech mice. The keyboard is a pain in the ass if you use the F-keys or the buttons above the invertet-T much (which I unfortuneately do).

I wish I knew about the logitech devices before I bought the MS stuff. Oh well.

The good news is that the HID profile works. The bad news is that the bluetooth utilities don't.

Did anybody else update their BT drivers? Did you have any problems?

Having fallen in love with the MX-700 and MX-500, I'm waiting to hear reports on the Logitech BT mouse (though, if no one speaks up by Saturday afternoon, when my 5680 arrives, I may go get one. Or I may not...I can't use ANY radio devices in Arecibo...no wireless network card turned on (let alone being used), no cellphone turned on (not even used), no bluetooth. But it'd be nice for use when I'm not at the radiotelescope!)

I was curious, as the driver actually says it is 1.3.2.7 if you look at the properties and version. (the actual .sys file) I wonder what is going on.

Also you can install the drivers without the utilities without using the provided installation.

Has anyone reported the utility problems to Sager?

Also waiting for the Logitech Mouse review... someone? Perhaps Adam?

I took another look at the Logitech website, see link in the "Integrated Bluetooth" thread.

The logitech devices haven't been released yet. Logitech has a 'Notify Me' link to tell you when it is available.

I put the 1.3.2.9 drivers on my 4760 and it still doesn't let me use the MS BT keyboard or mouse... still does the same ol' thing where it says no services detected? Are all you guys that got your stuff to work using the 8890? Anyone got this new driver to work on the 4760 with the key/mouse?

I started another thread before I found this one... that's at http://talknotebooks.com/showthread....bluetooth+4760
