ok my reasons.
the $750 off coupon made the differnce between a 9300 and xps2 only $300, similiarly spec'd. better than the $700 difference only a week back. more acceptable now. man this coupon games got me in a bind. but i think even in desktop configs, if u go from a regular 6800 to an ultra, its around $250 more.
want going to get a 9300 anyhow, not much of a step up from my 8600 imo. was considering a desktop instead. but the xps2 is a big upgrade. let me say though that if it's ur first lappie, then the 9300 is a good choice.
so anyways, it came to $2400. the stuff i added was 1 gig ram, dvd-r, 80 gig drive, intel wireless, bluetooth. delivery date 12th april.
so now i wait in peace for 1 month, unless some new lappie is announced meanwhile which will totally trounce the xps2
that would suck.
