Hey peps,
Im intrested in buying a Sony S360 or S380. Everyone should know by now that the S360 has the mobile 9700 64 dedicated with 333mhz DDR and the S380 has the DDR2 533 with 6200TC with 32 and 96 sharded. My question is witch one should I buy...graphic base...I have seem benchmarks for the s360 for 2003 benchmark of scored between 2500 to 2869 depending on the Ram amount, CPU and HDD installed in them.. I have seen in laptop magazine the the Sony FS with the 6200TC was just shy of 8000 on benchmark2001...Im thinking if I put a Gig of memory DDR2 in the S380 I should be in good shape.....and load windows 2005 media centre. Or should I go with the S360 becuase that the 9700 is a proven chip....From what I heard as well Sony went with the DDR2 becuase the 6200 beginner card with the TC, the speed on access of the shard ram limits choppie-ness....This is hard to believe if you have ever gamed on shard ram but keep in mind that the shard ram on the 6200 is all driver and program based as well witch will effect it too..... Really dont know what to do here......help me out....
