Seriously, this is really starting to look suspect. What an idea..sneak out the shit screens by diluting them with ok ones. Mr A complains his screen looks like sparkling, crappy, ten year old underwear,Mr B says his is ok.Mr A assumes it must be his eyes.

Some people are clearly getting awful quality screens.

Why on earth Dell are compromising on the most important part is mind boggling -actually,when you've crossed the line that states any extra, tiny bit of profit is better than customer satisfaction or product quality it isn't.

I am pretty sure Mr Dell sold his mom as a motherboard some time ago.

I wouldnt have mind payng an extra 50 bucks for a good screen, although my screens quality has yet to be determined as the creators are still scratching there heads trying to find parts to kit the biz-natch so it can be shipped on a friday just so I will have to wait til monday to use, there by giving the time to judge the screen less as I will be working, thus pasifying the masses until we only eat sleep and poop dell, muhahhahahahahah. Dang, I really need my comp to get here.

True, but AW deliberately market themselves as an elitist company making expensive, designer machines.

Dell like to pretend to be friend to the blue collar guy and the single mom whilst taking them for all they are worth, treating them like shit and fleecing them. Remember, only guys like yourself who understand how Dell do business and can haggle actually get a good deal. Sure, that's great for you but sometimes it pays to look at the big picture.

That may be true for certain desktop models, but anyone buying a $2500+ laptop expressly (or implicitly given the 6800 non-ultra in the 9300) geared for GAMING is likely not worried about feeding his three daughters while working for $6/hour at McDonalds or putting caps on toothpaste on an assembly line...nonetheless, I do take your point, and I certainly don't believe that any company that re-marks inferior parts after minor cosmetic improvements and sells them as something 'new and improved' should receive anything but a big public dildo-ing up its virgin rosebud (i.e. a multitude of comlaints and returns, and, more embarrassingly, lost market share to more expensive rip-off joints like AW).

I'm sorry, what were we talking about? I lost my train of thought.
