HP ZD8000 for sale - Melb, Australia

I'm offering a great deal for people in Australia, (Melbourne particularly) that want a ZD8000 that is almost brand new (3 weeks old). It's actually the 8002 model with the following specs:

Intel Pentium 4 processor 550 with HT Technology 3.4GHz (800MHz)
1GB Dual Channel DDR2 400Mhz memory
60GB 7200rpm (Purchased seperately)
OPTICAL DRIVE - 8x DVD+⁄-RW
17.0" WSXGA+ WVA BrightView RESOLUTION - 1680 x 1050
ATI Mobility Radeon X600 with PCI Express graphics with 256MB video memory
TV-OUT PORT - S-Video
LAN - 802.11b⁄g; Integrated 10⁄100 LAN
SPEAKERS - Harmon Kardon speakers
CARD READER - 6-in-1 integrated Digital media reader slot
USB PORT - 4 x USB 2.0
PARALLEL PORT - Not specified by Manufacturer
SERIAL PORT - Not specified by Manufacturer
PC CARD SLOT - ExpressCard⁄54 PC Card slot
IEEE1394 PORT - Yes
BLUE TOOTH - Yes

The screen is incredible. I really can't complain about this machine at all. Due to some unforseen circumstances, this machine has to be sold.

Purchased for AU$4,199 plus I spent an extra $250 for the faster hard disk. I also purchased an additional 2 years warranty - makes 3 years warranty.

The PC is only 3 weeks old - hardly used. I'm willing to sell it for AU$3700. If someone is interested, drop me an email to vgolfer@tpg.com.au.

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not, but will someone in the US need a power transformer to use this?

vGolf - you say in your first thread http://notebookforums.com/showthread...ight=Australia that it retails for 3999.00 + 250.00 but in this one that you bought it for 4199.00 + 250.00 ?????

Purchase price has come down $200 since I bought this unit.

You wouldn't need a new transformer for this - just an adaptor to change from a 3 piece plug to a 2 piece (a couple of bucks).

Not sure if it would be worth anyone's while in the US to buy this unit - probably cheaper over there to buy one direct from HP.
