Very verynice computer.
it is much smaller than than the pictures i have seen on it.
no dead pixels so far. i'm still getting used to the space bar because it is the same height as the case and my thumb hits the top edge of the touchpad as well, dunno if that makes sense.

However, i have a few questions...

I think i'm getting the water dripping sound occasionally.
And is the area on the left of the touchpad suppqosed to get warm? The left side of the keyboard is also getting warm now...

Should i install all the drivers and see how well it runs before i reformat to test it out first?

congrats! not getting much love with the 9300 frenzy. I had a 700m and really like it. It was a fast little system and I never reformatted mine.
I never had heat issues or a dripping sound.
Keys were a bit small though! Enjoy!

the left side is where all the crap is, so that is where it's gonna get warmest. nothing to fear...it ain't gonna burn you...if it does, just think of all the IBMs you can buy with the lawsuit money

all this dripping makes me want to peeeee.

congratz on your 9300 too cdd
thanks laffingbilly

i reformatted but i couldn't get rid of the unpartitioned space, so i just made a second drive that was that size 3gb
i guess i'll just use that.
i was thinking just get one c drive, but oh well
this battery is great
been using it for more than 2 hours, still more than 3 hours left
kickass machine
i think the speakers are pretty good too

bad things are:
not as solid as other machines like sony and the shitty toshiba (i had a bad experience with the a70)
but it's pretty quiet most of the time

i got the 60gb hd but it's 54000rpm so i'm happy

unpartiioned space: you referring to the mirror partition? anyways, do a search and you can reclaim the space, or just delete all partitions and it will still designate the space but won't be included as part of your primary partition space so you will end up with only one c drive then

i got the 40gb 5400rpm and it's good for my needs, too

Yes! This is my major gripe about the keyboard. I find the size to be okay, but the spacebar thing is driving me a little nuts.

hm....i actually formatted twice
i couldn't reassign the space so i had a 54 gb c drive only
so i was like...hm..i'm missing too much space
then i did it again and just made 1 54gb c drive and 1 3gb d drive

i think i'm pretty used to the keyboard now!! the spacebar doesn't annoy me anymore
