This being my first post of many I hope,
as a NewBie to this forum I would be most obliged if some of you could give
me some advice as to my first purchase of a Laptop.
I would like to point out firstly that I am of advanced years and hope that
you will cut me a little slack as they say. Lol
The manufacturer chosen is Acer.
I have four Laptops in mind, each has its own merits. = *
Also the prices displayed would allow for,
a 3 Year Accidental Damage Warranty At £116.00p. GBP. to be added.
No.1 which to me is my first choice for price is,
Aspire 1674 @ £908.oop GBP.*
P4 3.4Ghz 800FSB* plus 1Gb. Ram** also a reasonable Video Card
Ati Radeon 9700 but only 64 Mb. Ram. LXA 305.164
No.2 Aspire 1693 £985.00p GBP.
WLMI PM 750 1.8Ghz 400FSB CrystalBrite Screen,* Video Radeon X600x128Mb.*
also Bluetooth.* LXA 4405.058
No.3 Aspire 1694WLMI £1171.00p. GBP.
WXGA CrystalBrite Screen*
Video Radeon X600X128Mb.*
Bluetooth.* LXA 4405.057
No. 4 Aspire 1804 WSMI £1068.00p. GBP.
P4 540 3.2Ghz. 800FSB* (Video Radeon X600x64MB.)?

Finaly although to myself they appear good specs. no doubt, I would not
require anything near as fast, as my main uses would be Home Accounts Internet use Personal Records and possibly a little gaming but certainly not as intensive as what you Guys would run. Lol
You may think, Why do I need the above specs. I don't really, its just that I am possibly greedy I have always preffered nearer to Top end rather than medium, I am sure most of you will know what I mean.
