World of Warcraft, Which Servers?

Thread Starter
I have a fresh copy of WoW sitting here awaiting a computer actually capable of playing it (phase 2 as of 3/14/5) and was wondering what other folks are already playing and on what servers.

Don't want to make the same mistake I did with EQ1, as I joined the Fennin Ro server only to later realize it was one of the oldest and best twinked, er established, of the group.

Also, any hard fought words of wisdom on races and classes? I know from EQ that every class thinks they are broken and that their particular racial/class combination is secretly hated by or completely forgotten about by the game designers (yes I played a dark elf, Bristlebane worshiping, assassin). What combination did you like the best? What should I stay far far away from?

Frostwolf. Thats the server I used to play on, and it was way overpopulated. If you were in a zone that had a large raid group in it, you lagged to heck. The server even crashed a couple times, randomly kicking people.

I'm on Lightning's Blade PvP on the Alliance side. It says that its a medium populated realm but the lag for me is pretty bad sometimes esp during raids.

The worst was a horde raid on SW once (40 Alliance, 30 Horde). I couldn't move and was eventually kicked.

Night elf is prob right up your alley. I'd recommend a rogue or priest for PvP. For PvE, you could be pretty much anything.
