Alien abducted iPod

A sailor's view of the new iPod mini 4gb.

I bought myself an iPod Mini (silver) for a few reasons. First and most importantly, to listen to music easily, i never cared much for cd's and I had a rio mp3 player at one time. Second, the mini in paticular comes in diff colors, and everyone knows if your going to buy something it should be in some color other then black (ford forgot about that). And third, I could take it with me anywhere and its pretty small.

I went online to apple.com, picked out my iPod Mini and chose the silver color, and i could even engrave this wonderful product, so I did what any pc loving person would do. deface apple property. I engaved on my iPod, "iPod Loves Alienware" (pic below to show how elite it looks next to my alienware. and it came time to purchase and put in my information, but what is this? apple dosnt ship APO/FPO? Now these damn terrorists pissed me off. I called them up and said listen here buddy, send me my ipod. and they said they could send it to a state side residence then that could be shipped FPO. I was mad, but i wouldnt let them win. I made an account at www.shipitapo.com, a great busniess that helps people like me out in situations like this. I had it shipped to that address, which is really a routing address to my FPO address, and within 3 weeks I got my brand new, engaved silver iPod Mini 4gb.

I still think apple needs to let go of canada and start shipping APO/FPO.

Conculusion: If you want an iPod, live IN America, not from there.

yup, i ordered my ipod mini the day before they got the "next gen ipod mini" and they automatically thought i would want the newer, better one. i didnt complain, they even put 50 bucks on my credit card back since i ordered it at 250, and the new one is 200.

but yes, this ipod does love aliens, or atleast thats what ET made it think.

to clear up the message:

do i hate apple? no, im an owner of a dual 1.6ghz desktop with 21in flatscreen. what do i use it for? ummm surfing the net and chatting on AOL IM (it looks cooler then windows version).

do i prefer microsoft over apple? no, i run redhat and mandrake on all my computers.

do i prefer PC's over apple? yes, mostly apple is a propiaritary company and you spend way to much for such little preformance.

BUT this is the iPod we are talking about, i bought it because its the best mp3 player for me, thus, i bought it. i engraved it, so, its mine, i could have put "dont get offended apple lovers but i dont love apple as much as you" and im sure someone will say something about it. and maybe MY ipod does love alienware, things get abducted all the time, look at the x files.
