Which MCE USB2.0 TV Tuner Does Inspiron 9300 Come With?

Hello everyone. I just put an order in for an Inspiron 9300 a few days ago when the $750 off coupon was in play and added a few features here and there including Windows Media Center Edition 2005. Rather than springing the $150 on the TV tuner at the moment, I spread those funds to other options more important at the moment. I went to call Dell to get a model number or any information on the TV Tuner so that I may order it later as I didn't want to get the wrong one since there are a few to choose from on their website. Also, I wasn't sure if this was a proprietary TV Tuner for the Inspiron 9300 itself or just another 3rd party one. Nobody at Dell knew after being transferred around for almost an hour and the only way they would be sure I would get the right one was to cancel the order and add the tuner resulting in me loosing my discount.

One person in tech support mentioned it most likely was just the Hauppauge USB Tuner with remote they have listed as an accessory at the link below and not a Dell branded product etc.

PLEASE, if anyone out there has an Inspiron 9300 with MCE and the TV Tuner that came with it as an option, can you confirm which one it is, by maybe a model # or any other info on it? Also, if it comes with a Media Center Remote and it it works well with it. If you even have a pic if it is other than the link above, please share if you can. I have searched forums and web pages galore. Thank you very very very much.

Thanks a LOT, DaddyOf2Girls... if anyone else happens to already have a 9300 setup with Media Center 2005 and one of the USB TV Tuners as well, could you please confirm and if it is okay quality on the monitor? This would just be taking place of my main PC and TV in a bedroom and I would like to make sure before ordering. I was going to just go ahead and pick one of these Hauppauge USB tuners from CompUSA or something as they are only about $100 and I would have it ready to go before my laptop gets here. Thanks everyone.

Yes, that is the correct part--same thing you get with the unit. It in fact came in a sep. shipment and was a day later then the laptop. I haven't had a chance to play with it to comment on the quality, etc.

Yes that is the same tuner I placed with my XPS 2 order as well :-)

Shipping date on that is estimated 4 days after my XPS should be shipped. Buddy of mine ordered his tuner when I did and got it 2 days later....

The egg has it as well, http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...116-627&DEPA=0

Another one a little cheaper, that claims to be able to let you watch TV without having your computer on, via USB. Good reviews on it, but I dunno how USB would work without powering on your machine.
