Another thread contained a similar question, but the discussion went in another direction entirely (see 4670 HELP thread), so I have started anew.
I have Windows XP on my brand spankin new Sager 4060. Unfortunately, the USB drivers on my utilities disk are for windows 2000 only. I have installed all of the available service packs and updates for windows XP-after a clean install of a legit operating system. However, I am having trouble with the universal serial bus controllers. First the SiS PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller wasn't working, and now I have 4 USB root Hubs listed when I only have 3 USB 2.0 ports. I think my problems could be solved by uninstalling the 2000 drivers, and then intalling XP drivers. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHERE i CAN FIND THE APPROPRIATE DRIVERS?
