You can find the SA1000 for around $140.00 street price in Japan.

SA-1000 headphones prices have dropped since their USA release. You can find them for around $110.00 online.

highly recommended!

Looks awesome (if looks matter to you)
Sound incredible!

At least 80% of the MDR-SA5000 in performance for less than half the price.
