I feel your pain man. My area-51 5550 got to my house and the sound card along with some other things were kaput. To make a long story short I ended up sending the entire system back and setting up a new order. Argh, back to the phase game with me.

Somehow it just isn't as much fun to the see the tracking pictures when they are going back to the Mothership. Keep your chin up Yang. In the meantime, check this site out:

http://www.bigshocker.com/faq.htm

It really looks as if it is something you should own. I ordered one as a gag gift for a friend. Place your order today and you might have it in time to include it in the pics when your system returns.

that totaly sux yang! i got my A-51 and my video card was messed up, but CS walked me through it and it is fixed (it took 3 hours). plus the time to install and update all my games. It took a long time before i actualy played anything. It is so worth the wait! i love my pc it kicks major ass, plus it is damn sexy!
you sent you'rs back to yang? well at least yours is already there...mine wont' arrive till monday....did you ask about their average turnaround time? they told me 12 business days upon receipt before shipment......i'm gonna miss the matrix online launch.

yeah unfortunately when I was w/ CS, they couldn't figure it out, nor could I...since I reseated the GPU serveral times and used 2 different types of GPU's as well...well frag some for me

well I live in ATL, GA. so it's not that far from AW, that's why it only takes 2 days for ground shipping to get to me and back to depot. They gave me an estimated 12 business day quote as well...needless to say I wasn't to happy upon hearing that since it took less than 12 days to order and to receive my pc (even though it was DOA, it was 12 total days, not business days)...that's why I made the point to the nice CS lady Fabia, that maybe it would be better for me to return the system and order a new one...but I was told by her that rma-ing my pc and having them "fix" it to perfection was the better way out for me...well good luckw/ your ran, hope all goes well w/ your pc as well

IMHO:

If you have not already, and I'm sure you have, test every plug on that powerstrip. Then pack up your monitor and test it on a friend's system. If both of those spec out for you I would ask that they just buildyou a new machine.

well the monitor is good, it was just used the previous weekend, and I have my dvd player, cable box, modem, and router connected to the same strip...so not sure why it didn't work...oh well I just want my pc =P

Do you know if that comes with all desktops? Is it a recent change because when I opened my box I had nothing like that, and if possible, would like to get one to have the "complete" AW experience...hehehehe
