Age 32

Chose the 9300.
I can get the fully loaded XPS2 for only $2350 US, which is only 350 more than I paid for my 9300. I chose not to because I didn't want to compromise my battery life or weight. I think the 9300 is a perfect balance between all things. (Its also hard to justify paying the extra money for some LEDs, which admittedly look cool, but only cost about a nickel to throw into the machine.) I do intend to mod my 9300 when I get it, with LEDs and a slick paint job.

One other note, I have used the Geforce 6800 and Geforce 6800 Ultra at work, and to be honest the performance difference between the two are hardly noticeable. You gotta be able to differentiate the hype from the facts, and I think theres a lot of hype going around.

33 - I9300

Have to echo what Operaman said, really more toward what I need and while the XPS2 looks cool, its a bit to flashy for my tastes.

Comparing desktop Geforce 6800s isn't the same as laptop versions. They have different clocks, different number of pipes and different memory.

All of the benchmarks show a significant difference in the 6800 in the Clevo and other laptops to 6800 Ultra in the XPS2. And those are benchmarks in games, not synthetic scores like 3D Mark and others.
