9300-26

I was looking at the XPS2 but I don't need ALL those bells and whistles for the extra money. I really don't care if the LED lights color can be changed.

25 --> XPS2

...and to think that I purchased an AOpen 1557GLS barebones a year ago, and already I'm upgrading. Oh well, hopefully I won't need to upgrade the XPS2 for a while.

19 years, XPS 2. Not too many kids with the XPS 2. Special thanks to my state college getting me the EPP discounts, and my dad for chipping in money for my college computer (which is 6 months or more late). I gotta have that geforce 6800 ultra...I'll get my moneys worth out of it.

23, chose 9300 so I could get more on Dell's dime, have some extra battery life, but the main factor is that I'm too busy working to play games much :P

Oh cool you got the 33% cash off as well! I locked that into a quote about 5 hours before it expired

early 20's grad student, 9300 for me ... mostly because the XPS-2 isn't available down under and I'm a little tired of waiting. I've been saving and telling myself I'll get a new laptop for over 4 years now! Well, OK, I stopped saving a couple of years ago when I'd put aside more money than my conscience would let me spend on a laptop! I kept putting it off when I saw the next big thing on the horizon but figured that with the free X300->GF6800 upgrade, free 3 year accident/theft cover (with the 3 year extended warranty) and 33% cash off I couldn't wait any longer
