First experience w/ Acer Customer Support: A brief review

Thread Starter
Ok, so I somehow managed to crack both the plastic pieces covering the hinges on my Ferrari 3200 and through long sessions of CS:S, HL2, UT2k4, and Doom3 I've managed to wear out the keyboard (it now has a shiny look and greasy feel =( ) I called the 1-800 number and the guy was very helpful. I told him that I had cracks on both my hinges and he looked up the the part number. I wasn't sure if the keyboard was covered under warranty so I went ahead and asked. And sure enough it was. I helped him out by providing the part numbers and he said that the order was placed and I'd have my parts in 2 days FREE of charge.

So that has been my first experience with Acer's customer support. So far I'd give them 5 stars out of 5. Hopefully your experiences will be the same.

I like it...

I placed a call 3 days ago to get my power brick replaced on my 8104, and they had it here in 2 days. It included a note saying not to bother sending the original part back, just throw it away in a responsible manner.
