What is LCD sparkle?! - Page 3

I know this is an older thread, but it appeared the only relevant one i could find with a google search. I purchased an inspiron 9300 a few weeks ago and found it in excellent order. Within about 5 days though, i noticed very small patterns on the display, mostly visible on white background. It looks as though there is water on the display as the white is very ununiform. I was so bothered that I sent the computer into dell to have the display replaced. I recieved it 4 days after having shipped it out (wow) with a fine, new display. A few days later (now) I am really starting to notice the patterns again. I searched the net, and I believe it is whats called display "sparkle". Its not noticeable with saturated colors such as viewing movies or playing games, but it is driving me nuts as i surf the web. So the question is, how do i make it go away? Im saving up for a 78 go, so a new display might be not an option.

My 9300 has some odd effect, though I wouldn't really call it sparkle. Its only noticible when the image on the screen is moving, or I move my head back and forth. But it looks like a fine grid of cris-cross of lines across the screen. Its very very hard to describe, and only noticible when you sit very close to the screen. Anyone ever notice this?

This is on my Samsung non glossy (matte) screen.

Oh Great Thread Ressurector. Six months isn't a record, but it's quite impressive.
