hi guys im so interested in knowing this thing. can a driver overclock or downclock the gpu automaticly? without an overclocking software or somethin'? i recently installed the catalyst 5.3 version and my 3d mark score changed 500 points!!!!! ( increase ) ( 8790 Sager )
do you think that is possible?
and by the way when i install call of duty . after entering the game on the menu page there is a black screen behind the New game - options - load etc.
there was a picture there right? and i cant run the game it gives me errors.
can you help me with my questions? thanks

No i mean autotacly without our manual change. can they do it???

No, not automatically. Increases in benchmark scores and framerates in games are the result of optimizations being written into newer versions of drivers.

what video card do you have? doesnt the x800m come with overdrive?

it depends which 3dmark you gained 500 points on. i think for 2001se 500 pts is within the margin of error..
